SALVADOR RIOS
Vineyard Manager

With more than 35 years of experience in vineyard operations, Salvador Rios brings deep-rooted knowledge and dedication to Usibelli Vineyards. He began his career in 1990 as a field worker, steadily working his way up to Vineyard Foreman and eventually Vineyard Manager. Following in his father’s footsteps, who also worked in the vineyards, Salvador has spent his life immersed in agriculture.His passion for learning and hands-on experience is complemented by coursework at Napa Valley College. When he’s not in the vineyard, Salvador enjoys mountain biking, horseback riding with his family and grandchildren, and spending time outdoors hunting. He also serves as a board member for Pope Valley Elementary School, reflecting his commitment to his community as well as the land.

MANNY RIOS
Sales and Operations Consultant

A Napa Valley native, Manny Rios began working in the vineyards at just 10 years old. Driven by a passion for viticulture and a deep understanding of vineyard operations, he founded Rios Farming Company, LLC in 1998. Over the years, Manny has built a reputation for meticulous vineyard care rooted in decades of hands-on experience. His expertise has helped cultivate grapes for some of Wine Country’s most respected names, contributing to the production of many renowned wines.

Deep Roots, Bold Vision.

In 1957, Emil Usibelli acquired 95 acres in Napa Valley’s renowned Rutherford region, a property that uniquely combined vineyards with an exotic bird farm. This picturesque land, now known as Usibelli Ranch, has remained in the family ever since. In 1958, Emil expanded his vision by purchasing over 2,100 acres in Pope Valley, establishing what is now Usibelli Vineyards. The estate also includes # acres in Chiles Valley.
